11 Sep 2018 (34w4d): Baby engaged?!

When nearer to the due date, we can start the following to getting labour.

I started kneeling on "all fours" yoga pose for 10 minutes since 3 days ago (8 September 2018). Today, just today itself, a few of my colleagues noticed that my baby bump dropped. I am happy because baby might be engaged?! Can't wait to go for baby scan to confirm this.

Besides, we also can follow the following natural ways to induce labour.

1. Taking a cocktail of mixed orange juice and caster oil, 3 times half hourly
2. Start taking 6 dates a day from week 36
3. Bouncing on exercise ball from week 39
4. Walking for 15-20 minutes a day
5. Do 10x10 squats the day before the induction day
6. Swimming
7. Take fresh and raw pineapple
8. Take spicy food

Some people recommend taking evening primrose or drinking red raspberry leaf tea from week 34. However, there is no data to show its success rate. We also have to beware of consuming too much raspberry tea leaf as there have been a few incidents of postpartum hemorrhage resulting from it. Postpartum hemorrhage is excessive bleeding following the birth of a baby.
